Ludhiana: Calcutta’s Trambak Rubber were leading a pack of 21 teams at the end of the second session of the three-sessions final of the board-a-match event on the penultimate day of the 44th National Bridge Championships on Monday.
Trambak, with an aggregate of 153 MPs were a board and half ahead of their nearest rivals, Chowdhury Combines (144 MPs). Formidables, were third with 143 MPs.
Nalco, Orissa (133 MPs) were also in the run as also Calcutta’s A. Daga’s IV on the same score. Two more Calcutta teams, Haldibari and D. Chakraborty’s IV along with Mumbai’s India Blues were joint sixth. (PTI)
