Cartoonist dead

Thiruvananthapuram, Dec. 1 (PTI): Abu Abraham, a cartoonists known for his merciless attack on corruption in polity with a stunning punchline, died here this afternoon.

Abu, 78, is survived by wife and two daughters.

Abu started his career with the Bombay Chronicle in 1946 as a reporter. He also drew cartoons, which were published in leading periodicals, including Blitz and Current.
