Harare: The International Cricket Council and six of the countries due to play World Cup first round matches in Zimbabwe next February and March will decide in 12 days time whether they will go ahead with the fixtures here.

The ICC Chief Executive Malcolm Speed and the chairmen of national cricket boards of England, Australia, The Netherlands, Namibia, India and Pakistan will spend the next two days assessing security procedures here and in Bulawayo.

Their report is due to be published on December 9. (AFP)
