Forex reserves surge

Mumbai, Nov. 23: India’s foreign exchange reserves have crossed $ 66 billion following fresh foreign direct investment inflows, revaluation of the dollar vis-a-vis the euro and export remittances for the week ending November 15. The reserves continued to surge to reach record highs with inflows of $ 648 million to $ 66,024 million.

Pepsi bottles

Hyderabad, Nov. 23: Bringing an end to its efforts to retrieve its legal property, Pepsi bottler Charminar Bottling Co got back the first lot of its empty glass bottles, which were seized during the police raids at the Coca-Cola premises recently.

Rome, Nov. 23: Fiat workers marched through Turin in protest against the company’s plan to slash more than 8,000 jobs.
