Samuels, Drakes may miss fifth ODI

Vadodara, Nov. 16: Apart from failing to win even after posting totals in the region of 300 and above in successive games, there is other bad news in the West Indies camp as well.

Two of their regulars — Marlon Samuels and Vasbert Drakes — are carrying injuries and uncertain for Monday’s fifth match of the on-going series against India.

Team manager Ricky Skerritt admitted that there are a couple of injury worries in their team, but added that the names will not be revealed before Sunday morning’s practice session.

A source of The Telegraph, however, confirmed that the concerned players are Samuels and Drakes.

Samuels entered the team hotel here Saturday on a wheel-chair, the source added, while Drakes was seen walking with a lot of discomfort.
