Citibank prepaid dollar card

Mumbai, Nov. 15: Citibank India today launched the Citibank World Money Card, a product that may make travellersí cheques redundant. It is a first point-of-sale enabled prepaid dollar card for overseas travellers. World Money offers additional features like the safety of a travellersí cheque, convenience of an ATM card and acceptance of a debit card, Citibank officials said.

It will allow card members to monitor their spends on the card anywhere in the world through an electronic statement delivered through email. The bank would issue prepaid cards for amounts ranging from $ 500 to $ 10,000, subject to RBI norms said Atul Malik, cards head at Citibank India.
