Islamabad, Nov. 11: Pakistan today declared it would not accept any condition set by India for holding the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (Saarc) summit here early next year, says our special correspondent.
On reports about Indias insistence on linking the Saarc summit to progress on the South Asian Free Trade Agreement, foreign office spokesman Aziz Ahmed Khan said such agreements are complicated and many issues had to be considered.
Khan said trade between the neighbours has to be mutually beneficial. The agreement can take place only when the other issues involved are settled, the spokesman added.
