Dhaka: Four members of Bangladesh’s national cricket team were injured when their taxi overturned on Wednesday, an official said.
The Bangladesh Cricket Board official said the vehicle flipped over while trying to avert a collision with a truck in the capital’s Dhanmandi area.
Batsman Alok Kapali and Tushar Imran were given first aid, but Tapash Baishya and Rafiqul Islam Khan were hospitalised, the official said.
“The injuries do not seem to be serious, but doctors are making sure and they were thus hospitalised,” the official said.
Bangladesh has one of the highest death tolls in road accidents in south Asia.
