Naughty & nice, he is the hottest

London, Nov. 6 (AP): He’s still in high school, but Prince Harry has been named Britain’s hottest date by the society magazine Tatler.

The 18-year-old prince, third in line to the throne, topped the magazine’s annual list of eligible bachelors, released yesterday.

“Harry has come of age this year, and he has a naughty but nice element to him. He’s irreverent, mischievous and terrific looking,” said the magazine’s editor, Geordie Greig. “He has just arrived on the London scene, and the girls are going absolutely berserk over him.”

Harry, who’s in his final year at Eton school near London, was caught drinking underage and smoking marijuana in January. When he turned 18 in September, he vowed to carry on the charity work begun by his mother, Princess Diana.

In second place on the list was 79-year-old artist Lucian Freud, whom the magazine praised for his “youthful genius”. Hollywood star Gwyneth Paltrow, who is frequently in London, topped the women’s list, followed by 21-year-old royal Lady Gabriella Windsor and model Sophie Dahl.

Harry also received an offbeat 18th birthday this year — his own coat of arms — and one of the world’s top photographers transformed the young redhead into a sex symbol.

Mario Testino certainly knows all about image — he was the favourite photographer of Harry’s mother Princess Diana, turning the tortured divorcee into a carefree model in a famed Vanity Fair spread just before she died.
