Bengal take control

The Bengal under-15 team put themselves in a strong position at the end of the first day of the Polly Umrigar Trophy match against Assam at the Rajdanga ground Tuesday. After dismissing Assam for a paltry 142, Bengal were 93 for no loss. Chandan Pal got four for 18 for Bengal.

IFA no to Bagan

It was told that it will be impossible to grant Bagan the permission this year, because other participating clubsmight demand the same.
