Coke on growth path
Coca-Cola India’s carbonated soft drinks (CSD) sales recorded a 30 per cent volume growth in the quarter ended September 30 compared with 26 per cent in the previous quarter ended June 30. Correspondingly, the company’s all-India market share in the CSD category at the end of August 31 increased by 2.2 per cent. Kinley’s (Coca-Cola’s packaged water brand) market share, according to the latest ORG-MARG National Retail Sales Audit grew by 1.5 per cent to 36.6 per cent against Bisleri’s 31.4 per cent and Aquafina’s 12.5 per cent at the end of August 31.
Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) will organise a conference on IT enabled services (ITeS) on December 12 in Calcutta. The national seminar will address issues of the ITeS industry and project the eastern states of the country as a possible destination for ITeS investments.
