Wimpy’s chief

New Delhi, Oct. 24 (PTI): A Delhi court has issued a non-bailable warrant against the managing director of fast-food chain, Wimpy’s, for allegedly flouting an order barring him from leaving India without the court’s permission.

The court also cancelled the bail allowed to Kanwaljith Singh Sidhu in an alleged case of cheating a fellow British citizen of Rs 50 lakh.

The case followed a complaint by Bhajan Singh Sharma, a resident of Covenry in the UK, who alleged that Sidhu had cheated him. Sharma said he had loaned the money to Sidhu’s company — M/s Goodwill Foods Private Limited — in December 1994 for a two-year period.
