Randhawa sixth

Jyoti Randhawa finished sixth in the Dunhill Links Championship, which concluded at the Old Course in St Andrews on Sunday. The Indian tallied an impressive 16-under 272 for the championship aided by a final round score of four-under 68.

Amandeep Johl, the other Indian to have made the three-round cut, finished tied-65th at two-under 286. Irelandís Padraig Harrington won the title.

Bata relegated

Calcutta Customs held on to their CFL first division group A position, beating Bata SC 7- 6 on tie-breaker in the relegation play-off Monday. The match ended goalless after regulation and extra times at Rabindra Sarobar Stadium. Bata, thus joined Rajasthan Club in their relegation to group B.

Cyber bowling

Jayshree Infotech, represented by Rahul Bhattar and Subrato Halder, won the Main Plate of the second Cyber Cup bowling tournament at the Nicco Super Bowl Monday. In the final, they beat Bayview Technology B 366-240. In the loserís plate final, Bayview Technology A beat Tata Consultancy Services 274-257.
