Cadila overseas ventures

Mumbai, Sept. 28: Cadila Healthcare Ltd will set up new companies in Brazil and the US as part of its overseas growth plans. Zydus Healthcare Brasil Limitada would be set up as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Zydus International Private Ltd, Ireland. It also plans to form a limited liability company (LLC) in the US — Zydus Healthcare (USA) LLC — as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Zydus International Private Ltd, Ireland, for developing overseas business.

Forex reserves

Mumbai, Sept. 28: After last week’s slide, India’s foreign exchange reserves are on the upside again at $ 62,521 million, witnessing a rise of $ 500 million for the week ended September 20.

Consumer fair

Calcutta, Sept 28: Consumer 2002, the consumer durables fair being organised by the CII (eastern region) has evoked good response and companies like Hero Honda, Yamaha, Philips, Eveready and Exide have been able to do good business. It will continue till September 29.
