S. Korea eye second spot

Busan: South Korean sporting hopes are high for the September 29-October 14 Asian Games, the biggest in history with the added political twist of North Korea’s participation.

South Korean organisers boast that the Games will bring together all 43 members of the Olympic Council of Asia for the first time and attract more athletes and officials than any previous Games. South Korea will focus on securing second spot in the medal table behind behemoth China. (AFP)
