US-64 asset value dips

Mumbai, Sept. 15 (PTI): The market value of Unit Trust of India’s flagship Unit-64 fell marginally by 0.92 per cent at the end of August 31 at Rs 11,300.09 crore, compared with Rs 11,405.23 crore as on July 31 2002.

The scheme holds 62 per cent in equity and related instruments with three Reliance group firms accounting for 14.6 per cent of its asset value, according to investment data released by UTI. The top five equity holdings were—Reliance Industries (Rs 981.26 crore or 8.68 per cent of asset value), ITC (Rs 873.41 crore or 7.73 per cent), Reliance Petroleum (Rs 491.81 crore or 4.35 per cent), Infosys (Rs 279.33 crore or 2.47 per cent) and BPCL (Rs 262.18 crore or 2.32 per cent).
