Kodak FDI proposal cleared

New Delhi, Sept. 13: London-based imaging company Kodak Limited has got the nod to invest Rs 99 crore in Kodak India and take foreign equity holding in the company from 74.76 per cent to 100 per cent.

The government today cleared 30 foreign direct investment (FDI) proposals worth Rs 212 crore including proposals from GE Capital Mauritius, International Finance Corporation, Sun Chemicals Group and GVK International.

GE Capital Mauritius received permission to acquire 7.5 per cent in TV Today network by investing Rs 10.50 crore in the 24-hour Hindi news channel. The Rs 51-crore proposal of the Netherlands’ GVK International NV to take 51 per cent in its local subsidiary, GVK Infrastructure Investments was also cleared.
