India hold Jamiaca 0-0

Calcutta: India’s short trip of England ended with a 0-0 draw against a Jamaican XI at Wolverhampton Sunday night. After resting several regulars and losing Thursday’s first match 0-3, Stephen Constantine’s team went in at full strength, and the result was not disappointing.

According to a Reuters report, there was a generous gathering of 4,030, mostly flag-waving expats and Bhaichung Bhutia and friends tried their best to please the crowd.

TFA graduate Dipak Mondal, who now patrols the East Bengal backline, was adjudged the Indian player of the series.
