Roads to avoid

Esplanade, opposite Metro cinema. Trinamul Congress members will sit-in for a daylong agitation from 11 am to protest the harassment of party workers. Chairperson Mamata Banerjee will address the rally at 3 pm.

Album launch

Soumitra Chatterjee and Madhabi Mukherjee will release Jibanpurer Chiro Pathik, a compilation of songs picturised on Anup Kumar to mark the actor’s death anniversary, at FE8, Sector 3, Salt Lake, at 7 pm.

CD festival

A festival of View CDs from Warner Bros. will be inaugurated by Lee-Alison Sibley, wife of US consul-general, at MusicWorld, 12 noon.

Exhibitions

An exhibition of photographs by David Giancatarina will be inaugurated at Oxford Bookstore at 6 pm. Gift and Stationery Fair 2002 at Ice Skating Rink from 11 am to 8 pm.
