August 26 at Swabhumi; 6.30 pm: Kanai Das of Katwa will present comedy dance based on humorous songs. September 1 at Madhusudan Mancha; 7 pm: As part of its seventh annual concert, Samskritiki Shreyaskar will premiere Kalidasa’s Meghadoota, using Kathak to render the rich poetry in movements, images and rhythms within the discipline of the tradition. The production is conceived, designed and directed by Rani Karnaa.
