The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) has revised the HS 2024 merit list following the release of the Tatkal Post Publication Scrutiny (PPS) and Post Publication Review (PPR) results on May 14 and 15, 2024, respectively.
These results are now available on the website, wbchseapp.wb.gov.in/portal/dashboard_student.

The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) has revised the HS 2024 merit list following the release of the Tatkal Post Publication Scrutiny (PPS) and Post Publication Review (PPR) results on May 14 and 15, 2024, respectively. According to the official notification, these results are now available on the website, wbchseapp.wb.gov.in/portal/dashboard_student, with further updates expected soon.

The revised merit list now includes 70 students in the top 10, an increase from the initial 58. The tatkal scrutiny and review process resulted in 12 new names being added to the list, while three students improved their state ranks. Ankit Pal from Kenduadihi High School (Bankura) moved from fifth to third position, Abhra Kishore Bhattacharjee from Hooghly Collegiate School (Hooghly) advanced from sixth to fifth position, and Bristi Pal from Chinsurah Balika Bani Mandir (Hooghly) shifted from ninth to seventh position.

Notably, four students from Narendrapur Ramakrishna Vidyalaya (Residential) were newly listed in the top 10. Other schools represented among the new top 10 entries include Hooghly Collegiate School, Midnapore Collegiate School, Balurghat High School, Madhutati High (HS) School, Tanadighi High School, Shihas RG High School, Gazole Sewchand Parameswari Vidyamandir, and Nirole High School (HS).

This year Abhik Das from McWilliam Higher Secondary School, Alipurduar, secured the first position with 496 marks. Soumyadeep Saha from Narendrapur Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya (Residential) placed second with 495 marks, and Abhishek Gupta from Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Vidyamandir, Malda, came third with 494 marks.

This year marked the inaugural implementation of the Tatkal review and scrutiny process, which received 22,836 applications. Of them 22,138 applications have been processed so far. Moreover, 5,459 applicants had their results revised. Further changes in the merit list are possible as the regular scrutiny and review results processes are still pending.

Students with revised marks should promptly collect their updated mark sheets and pass certificates from the respective Regional Office by returning their previous documents.
