Stand-up comedian Shane Gillis is the face of new Netflix comedy, ‘Tires’

The six-part series will premiere on May 23

Shane Gillis has been seeing a meteoric rise in the past few years. His podcast with Matt McCusker, Matt and Shane’s Secret Podcast, has the highest subscribers on Patreon. He also released his second comedy special, Beautiful Dogs, last year on Netflix and now he is the face of a new Netflix show!

The streaming giant recently dropped the trailer of Tires, a raunchy workplace comedy about a group of dysfunctional adults on the verge of driving a tire business into bankruptcy. Gills, who helped co-create the show too, is seen hitting on customers, pooping in their washroom, and drinking at the office, epitomising the definition of a ‘bad employee’. Packed with toilet humour, this six-part series promises to be a hoot and a half, when it premieres on May 23.
