Drop everything because Alia Bhatt’s look for Met Gala 2024 has set the internet ablaze, and you just cannot miss it. The powerhouse actress looked like a dream in a Sabyasachi couture with floral detailing, which does complete justice to the theme — ‘Garden of Time’.
The olive green sari that comes with a trail is a hand-embroidered piece with beads and precious stones engraved on it. The frilly fringe on the shoulders adds an extra layer of softness to the look, as does Alia’s dewy makeup. The coiffure hairstyle with braids and loose hair to frame her face, and the regal headgear has elevated the look further.
Alia’s outfit is a collaborative effort of 163 artisans and has taken 1,965 man hours to complete. The diva has described the look as “an ode to art and eternity”. This is her second time at the Met Gala and she has worn a sari to the event for the first time this year.
