Family: Wife Jamna Devi and two sons, Sanjay (25) and Pankaj (23)

Did you vote in 2014, 2019: Yes

Did Modi deliver on his promise of acche din: To me, yes

How: I have heard people say he has sold the country but I get ₹6,000 a year under the Kisan Samman Nidhi and 20kg foodgrains under the food security scheme. It has helped me

Has Modi kept his guarantee? I don’t know

What is the single biggest change that has taken place since 2014: The goondas have stopped their activities

What is the one issue you would like changed now: Corruption should be eradicated. My contractor of foodgrains doesn’t give us gram and oil. He sells in the market. Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath claims this was also to be given to us but he doesn’t cross-check whether we are getting it or not.

What he wants from new govt: Both my sons are labourers and work in a factory in Mathura. They should have some land so they can get married and live peacefully

What he doesn’t want from new govt: The government should stop ignoring the lack of infrastructure in our villages

Mathura voted on April 26
