As the competition witnesses massive participation from schools across Kolkata and suburbs, Science Spectra 2024 promises to be a celebration of young scientific talent, innovation, and creativity. The program's impact goes beyond the realm of academia, as it fosters a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship among young minds.
The inaugural speech for the session has begun by the kind words of Dr Subhobroto Ganguly, Teacher in charge followed by Prof. Dilip Shah, Rector & Dean of Student Affairs. He says, "Our religion and everything is science. Push the ambit of science. Let the spark in you turn into fire."
Dr Debasish Chakraborty, Ex senior scientist & head applications of ISRO, RRSC East Kolkata says, "Always remember however complex your project is, try to explain in simple words and hence it will be easier to reach out to the audience."
Dr. Suparna Basak, Associate Professor in Physics at The BESC, motivated and encouraged the students with her kind words. She says, "I am really honoured to be a judge of this programme. I wish students to have success in your future and try to keep the spark of inventions and discoveries going."
Lastly, the inaugural session concluded with Dr Samir Kumar Siddhanta saying, "I wish all the students best of luck and may the best team have it's victory."
